What a great, manly sweater -- and the buttons totally make it!  Well worth obsessing over!

I find that no matter how crappy of a picture I take, google's picasa will fix it and make it pretty!  It's free, easy to use, and I highly recommend it.
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: i know it's winter for most of you.. on: February 16, 2007 06:11:55 AM
tank top?
socks?
non-wool sweater?
newsboy hat?
wristbands (learn intarsia or beadwork)?

I live in Las Vegas and have much the same issue with it being warm.  It's "winter" here and 70 degrees (don't hate me northeastern/midwest Americans!).  At least I'm climate controlled.

Have you all seen this?  It's got Julia Roberts starring.  Looks like knitting has finally made it big!  Wink
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tennis/Cricket Vest or Sweater on: February 15, 2007 03:30:00 PM
Ooooh the Cambridge one would work well - I just need to add some coloured trims to it Smiley

I've also had a squizz at the ones on knit1 - they would be perfect too but I'm in australia and I've found very few stockists of knit1. At the moment, I haven't seen the latest issue at all ... but if I do, I'll also try that one..

But for now, it's the cambridge one!
Happy to be of service!  I can't wait to see your finished vest!  Cheesy

Huh where is everyone?

I ended up giving myself a good solid kick in the pants and set up an etsy shop.

I'm inspired again  Grin yay!

Still want to meet up with peeps though.

Does anyone know if there are any craft shows in Vegas? I would love to share a booth and set up with someone if there is.

Congrats on your etsy shop!  I don't know of any craft booths, but there are a lot of swap meets.  That might be a good place to sell your stuff.

Hi everyone!

Thanks everyone!  Cheesy
I can't say enough good things about that tutorial.  The pictures were really good and the only new skill I needed was for the kitchener stitch.  Anyway, don't be afraid!  Try that tutorial!
