would anyone be interested in a swap for handmade baby items?

I loved the idea of having sentimental pieces for our wedding so I wore my mother's veil (I altered it first) and lots of old family jewelry and I made my own dress.
We don't have our pro pics yet and I don't have a pic of the back but it is low cut with a sash and a small train.  I made my wedding dress with the New Look 6401 pattern it's all dupioni silk. What do you think?

Details of swap:
The weather is starting to get chilly and Christmas isn't too far off yippie! I've organized a few ornament swaps in previous years and they are always great fun. You can have up to 3 partners (but newbies will only have 1 partner). Send each partner at least one handmade ornament and another small Christmas related item which can be purchased or handmade.

DCNs are NOT required but if your partner doesn't receive you must resend.

I'm looking for fabric for my wedding dress and want to order some swatches. Can anyone recommend a store where they bought their bridal fabric?
I could also use a website that clearly describes the different types of fabric.

I've been away from Craftster for awhile, busy with wedding stuff. I'm sewing my dress, here's a muslin version I did recently (just ignore my notes in the pic) what do you think??

I am thinking of using silk dupioni or silk taffeta. Can anyone tell me a good place to buy silk fabrics? Also, Are there any tricks to sewing with silk?

I want to hand embroider initials on pashminas for my bridal party. Has anyone tried embroidering on pashminas? Is it difficult, will I need stabilizer?
