1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Summery tablecloth dress on: June 06, 2008 07:13:59 AM
I can't believe it!  I have exactly the same tablecloth sitting in my closet right now.  Shocked  I got for like a quarter and I've been holding on to it for a few years in the hopes that lurking this site will turn me into a crafty chick.  I would have never thought about turning it into a dress.  It looks fantastic!   Cheesy
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: National Geographic Postcards on: October 28, 2004 09:28:20 AM
I love them!  What a great idea.  I bought some old National Geographic mags a while back and didn't know what to do with them.  I'll  have to make a trip to Wal-Mart this weekend for the cardstock.  Thanks for the fabulous inspiration!   Smiley

I love all of them, but the one with the rainbow socks is SOOOO groovy!  Cheesy  I really like them, too!  Wink
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: bagheraa's reconstructed summer purses on: August 09, 2004 08:27:53 AM
A placemat as a purse?  How clever is that!  Job well done, that's one of the most innovative re-purposed projects that I've seen.

What a terrific idea.  And this method is inexpensive, which makes it even better.  Marbelized paper can be so costly that I tend to pass on buying it.  Now with this idea I can make my own without breaking the piggy bank.  Thank you to candycanechild for posting this!   Cheesy Wink Cheesy

What a fantastic idea!  This would be a great gift for a friend of mine who just moved recently.  She's homesick and could use a "happy" to cheer her up.  I'll have to try this project this weekend!

Oh, and the illustrations are great!  Wink
7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Circle Journey Book on: July 09, 2004 09:10:24 AM
This a great idea.  I have a friend that I need to keep in touch with and this would be a great way to do it.

I LOVE that paper.  For the scraps, maybe you can use them in a collaged picture or decoupage a small gift box with it.  I'm mad at you, though. . .because I never can find paper like that!   Grin

Great job!
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Thank You cards on: July 09, 2004 09:05:40 AM
The cards are really cute!  I've been meaning to take a weekend and make some of my own: the ones you buy in the store aren't nearly as interesting.  Seeing yours gives me hope that I can find time to complete a project like this.  Thanks for posting!  Cheesy
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Retro Pink Polka Dot Suitcase Revamp! on: July 09, 2004 06:54:44 AM
Your suitcase is so cute!  I have an old one that I found for just $1.00 too!  How lucky are we?  Wink I've had mine for a while but haven't done anything with it other than store old bed sheets.  Hopefully, this will give me the motivation necessary to work on it soon!
