I am going to the Navy ball on Saturday and I was wondering if anybody knew a simple hairstyle i could do for long, layered hair. I don't really have the time or money to go to the salon, so suggestions would be much appreciated!

Yes! There is little giraffe squares going along the side too. I'm not sure If I have a good picture of it... Hmm..



I don't know if you can see... but the squares go all down one side.

The back also has a little heart sewn in the corner.

Inspired by a post I had seen around here a long time ago.

I bought a little boys hoodie and everything else is handsewn. somehow it even lives through the wash.

anyway, giraffes are AMAZING and what better way to show your love then by wearing it on your head?



Sorry for the poor quality of my webcam, but clearer pictures expected soon!
I used a bright yellow hoodie from the little boys department ($8 Whoooo!!) and some yellow and brown fabric. The "head-bobbers" (as my friend, Greige put it.) are stuffed with polyfil and sewn on, same goes for the ears. The back left shoulder of the hoodie has a big brown heart (for a spot!) sewn on. Oh, and there are two big brown buttons for eyes. It didn't take long, but for a while there the headbobbers wanted to give me some trouble.

Either way, since I stand about 6ft tall, I make a good sized baby giraffe. Iddn't that neat? I want to go make giraffe friends at the zoooo...

Anyway! Imput is good, especially because it's 2 AM in  my land, and I am bored...bored...bor ed.

 

I got my swap pacakge from Fyberduck yesterday before opening night of my show, and let me tell you, the pantas she knit me were aweeesome!! I was freaking out so bad after i opened them, my best friend was there and said, "SETTLE DOWN LYNDZ!" Heheh

ANYWAYS!



She knit me that out of some craaazy yarn called coconut. It's amazing. I wore it into the theatre that night and my best friend wore it to Applebees after the show, I wore this green one...

She made me five! Five! I was so ecstatic, it was out of control. My friend Greige keeps taking them and wearing them. But they're all mine!! Oh and she sent me little duck things such as bubbles, bath beads (?), and GNOME GUM!!

I wore this to a dance themed "Stars Through the Ages" and it is designed to look like Columbia from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. My friend, Greige dressed as Frankenfurter and my friend Sami dressed as Magenta. It was so much fun.

Sorry for the one picture, I just didn't feel up for photography that night, I suppose. 

Fear not!
I would wear those generally wherever I felt like it. I mean, don't feel weird about it. I walk around everywhere in my town wearing this...
