23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Heart fringe and cut out t shirts Lots of colors on: September 30, 2014 10:25:00 AM
Thanks for the positive feedback , and as for washing they seem to hold up pretty well . Ive been washing Mine in a small load on the  gentle cycle and drying alone in the dryer so they dont tangle up with other strappy garments . They actually relax a bit and the fringe looks even nicer after a few washes Smiley

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / New take on fringe tank on: September 20, 2014 03:30:49 AM
One of My new New fringe tanks . To wear over Bandeaus or bikini tops . I have several more including t shirt versions with various neck lines in lots of colors Ill be posting soon
I kept the original hems on this and didnt cut the fringe all the way thru . This allows  it to  keep its shape and prevents it from slipping off the back and shoulders .

Id love some feed back on what you guys thing
Have a great day

29  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: New Patio for under 40 $ reclaimed red brick on: June 22, 2014 05:52:00 PM
Thanks everyone .. as for learning how there are quite a few videos onl;ine if you google " Red brick patio or red brick path " . but basically you clear the grass from the area you want to use , level off the ground if needed , If you have a ground packing tool  this would be the time to use it ( We didnt have one and We didnt mind the character of the ground being a tad uneven especially since our brick have a ton of texture anyway and wouldnt be flat no matter what We did Smiley )  Next place a layer of weed barrier ( ours was 1 $ at the $ store for an 8x4 sheet - We used 2 sheets ) then you add a thin layer of sand and loose gravel and start placing your bricks in what ever pattern you choose ( some of them can get really intricate and awesome )  then you sweep more loose sand and gravel into the cracks until everything is nice and firm ..Over the next few days try to walk on it " evenly " and if you feel any loose bricks sweep in more sand and gravel - especially after a big rain when the ground is squishy .. this will lock everything nice and tight ( The pathway next to the pond has been laid since late april and feels like its been there forever Smiley
