Yeah! There are crafters out there in Bloomington/Normal!!! I am going to be moving to normal in Dec. (Yeah graduating college and have my first job!!!)  I have no idea what i will do without my yarn shop!! Anyone know of anywhere to get great yarn?? Are there any knitting groups in the area?  I also dabble in sewing and stamping i would like to become more open in my "craftiness" and final will have the time!!!Any tips on crafty places in the area would be great!!!

I live in IL about 1.5 hrs away from ST Louis and will be taking a little shopping trip to the big city on wednesday (in 2 DAYS!!) and was wondering what are some great crafty stores there.  I am looking both for stores that would inspire me and stores for supplies, i knit, sewing, and do general crafts...let me know if anyone can think of anywhere great for me to visit...thanks

I am new to sewing and wondering how do i correctly cut fabric using a pattern, i was once told that you have to cut the fabric in the right direction or it will pull and fit incorrectly....if someone could help me out that would be great!!
