1  My second project, another hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by bobertlo on: May 06, 2006 07:10:34 PM
So my first project was a tight thin hat, so I thought I'd make a loose thick hat. I found the pattern here:http://www.yarncat.com/3_Way_Cap.html when I was looking for something to make before my first hat and really liked the look of it but didn't think I could do it yet so I did a different hat. Anyways, here are some pics:

I started it last sunday and finished it tonight, satuday. I mostly worked on it at school since I have two classes I don't do anything in, I probably only spent 2 or 3 hours on it outside of school and only when I had nothing better to do. I had the gold yarn sitting around so I bought a color that looked good with it and just used both of them.

That's all I can think to say about it, any comments would be appreciated  Grin

2  Re: (nintendo) messenger bag tutorial in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by bobertlo on: May 02, 2006 08:41:17 PM
great bag and tutorial! I found it very helpful in making my own, although I didn't quite follow it completely. I made a bag for myself out of old pants and a little camo fabric i had for the lining. I realy just wanted something I could carry around knitting stuff and notebooks in because my backpack was ugly and broken Sad

I'm amazed it turned out! I hadn't sewn since like 7th grade in school haha. (I'm a senior now about to graduate)

Thanks for the tutorial!

3  tight orange hat (first crochet project) in Crochet: Completed Projects by bobertlo on: May 02, 2006 08:26:01 PM
I just finished this hat. It's my first crochet, so I think I did ok considering Tongue (well, I made a practice little nothing first but I don't think that counts)

I worked on it at school over 2 days (highschool is fun) and at home maybe 4 hours. It's a bit tight, but not uncomfortably so at all, so I'm thinking it will stretch out to just right as I wear it .. maybe? I didn't really use a single pattern, I just looked at a few for the size yarn I had to know what size hook to use and how long to keep adding stitches around the top.

I've been reading craftster for a while but never posted before, I love it!

Any comments would be very appreciated  Smiley
