Here's my bad boy, got this when I turned 16 I know its not very original (or unique ) but I was young then and wanted something that would still be beautiful (and that I'd find easy to like) when I was 20, 30, 40 etc.
My next ones up my ribs of stars, sewing needles, swirlys and birds :D

The colour of the flowers is a lot brighter then it is in the pic. Like violet pink and white rather then purple and magenta (make sense? I hope..)

Also I know its naughty but I threw in a pic of my tongue bars coz I got them done when I was 16 too

I made this skirt for Tatiana, my 11 year old sister, for Xmas. It was real easy, I just sewed on the frill at the top, the tulle underneath and appliquéd the spider on (that bit was a little harder because the tulle kept ripping)

And heres a picture of Tink (thats what we call her) next to my 5year old cousin. Tatiana's so tiny! The original skirt I used to make the base of this skirt came from the little kids section, aged 5years!!! hahaha, oh dear, we're a pack of midgets.

I found it at a bargain barn not unlike the one on napoleon dynamite for NZ$2 and made a pinafore... which i hated so I made a dress... which im still only a bit fond of but not much. But nyah, what can u do.

cute! how did you keep the stockings from raveling? i would do that to some of mine, but i would be annoyed if they broke 

They we're already broke  Me and my sister went a bit silly last halloween and she got caught on a fence and they laddered!!
(if the pic works thats her on the left, tee hee shes so funny, and thats me on the right ((although everyone calls me a liar when I say that, but I swear, it is me!!)) hope the pic works ) So i got a thread and did funny loopy stitching round the bottom of it and it stops it from laddering anymore, its magical. and then i just got the ribbony stuff or whatever that white stuff would be called and did some more loppy stictching. Its lucky im not interested in a career in teaching coz bloody oath I just dont make any sense at all!!

I made this lamp for my mums mothers day pressie (tried posting it once before but it never seems to work for me   If any one can tell me why?)

I made this lamp for my beautiful mother for mothers day. I saw one very similar (except much more professional looking ) in a shop in town for $180 (NZ) and this one cost me around $35.

Not sure if this is a reconstructed lamp (?) coz I spray painted it and did the flowers up the top etc.

[So I bought this dress a while back and now I HATE it with a passion. So what can I do to funk it up a bit?? (excuse the ugly pictures, im not a photogenic child ) thats me on the right with the heart face . Photos a bit distorted but you get the general idea. It kinda shows how the top of it is, got speghetti straps and wee darts. The botom has kinda tulle stuff underneath, and its about knee length. Its also like a circle skirt but not a full circle I dont think. Sorry if this is vague, mum stole my digital camera!! It kinda looks like this dress here, same waistline and hem etc but obviously in the spotty fabric!!! Any help would be greeeeeeeeeeeatly appreciated!!!]

Hey Im new here! Just wanted to put up this top I made at 4am on Friday (I needed something to wear to work on Saturday)
It was easy to make. I put a piece of laminating plastic through the laminator so it became like a sheet of hard clear plastic. Then I got some pictures of birds of the internet and stuck them to the back. I cut the pics out with a craftknife same goes with the writing. Tell me what you think! Im a newbie when it comes to sewing!


O sorry gang! Im so vague up there Okay heres a bit more elabor8:

1- I put a piece of laminating plastic through the laminator so it became a hard sheet of see-through plastic (equally a piece of over-head projector plastic would work but I have to work with what we have here at home)

2- Got some pix of sillouhettes (or however u spell that word ) of birds of the internet and stuck them to the underside of the plastic sheet so they could be seen on the other side (I did the same with the writing)

3- then I cut the pictures out very carefully with a craftknife so the plastic sheet became a sort of stencil

4- I just used gold fabric paint to stencil everything on.

5- the birdcage was done by freehand as it was too hard to cut a stencil of, thats why its a tidbit messy

And thats about it really Woot!! being a newbie rocks the shack
