1  Georgia / Georgia: Central / Wool and Hoop is coming to Atlanta for one night only special workshop! on: July 27, 2006 06:34:15 AM
Big News!

Katherine Shaughnessy of Wool & Hoop, Ltd. Co. (www.woolandhoop.com) is coming to Atlanta to teach a workshop using her hip crewel embroidery kits at Craftology!!!!!  She will also be selling/signing new copies of her new book.  Katherine has taught nationally at several other popluar craft studios, including the Make Workshop in NYC.  Her crewel embroidery kits are really retro and fun and have been featured in ReadyMade magazine, HGTV, and Family Circle to name just a few!

The workshop will be August 7th from 6:30 - 9:30.  All her engagements usually sell out, so we perceive this will be a huge success.

Please visit www.craftologyatl.com to register today/or book by phone at 404-808-5755
2  Georgia / Georgia: Central / Crafters needed on: April 30, 2006 03:00:01 PM
I am excited to be opening a new business in Atlanta this summer.  Our hope is to offer the largest variety of craft workshops in the Atlanta area.  The focus is not on the fine arts, but on fun, funcky crafts that can be created in 3 hours or less.  I will be offering quarterly contracts to crafters interested in teaching workshops.  The pay is GOOD!  Please email me directly at craftologyatlanta@yahoo.com if interested.  Please let me know where your skill lies.  We are looking for everything from jewelry to crochet to mosaics.

Thanks!

Katrine
