11  Rainbow Soapy in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by SparkleCookie on: October 14, 2006 12:14:42 PM
I've been thinking about this design for a while now.  I finally figured it out.
So, here's my rainbow mosaic soap.

It's got a soapy clean scent so I call it .

12  Don't let the turtle escape! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by SparkleCookie on: September 28, 2006 07:24:40 AM
Ok, so I'm in love with these soaps.  But, I'm easily amused.  What do you think?

The big one is escaping...

And his little brother

The turtles are lime scented and the blue water is citrusy.

13  puzzled: Homemade Puzzle Piece Soap in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by SparkleCookie on: September 28, 2006 07:21:27 AM
One of my friends suggested making these and it was a brilliant idea.  They are so fun!

I love how they fit together.  Smiley

I made them in 4 different scents/colors.
Pink = apple, orange = tangerine, green = lime and blue = raspberry.

I'm hoping they'll appeal to kids.  What do you think?

14  bracelet and necklace in Beads: Completed Projects by SparkleCookie on: September 28, 2006 07:13:07 AM
I wanted to make something dangly and kind of cool looking (cool as in color).

Then I made these earrings that have a similar feel...

16  Re: Wishlist Swap - July 2006 in The Swap Gallery by SparkleCookie on: August 12, 2006 01:52:09 PM
Look what I got from Laughing Lark.  I am so excited, I don't know what to say.  I asked for sparkly pendants and she sent me TWELVE and a pair of earrings.

1.  A beautiful sparkly butterfly

2 & 3  Two fancy flowers

4.  A fabulous dragonfly

5.  A green and yellow flower

6.  A happy little kitty person (I posed him!)

7, 8 & 9  3 excitingly colorful flowers

10.  A fabulous purple flower (purple is my favorite!!)

11.  A fun star and matching earrings

12.  This one is on an antique button -- it reminds me of a lily pad.

I can't decide which is my favorite.  I love them all.  THANK YOU Laughing Lark.  You're the best!

I haven't been feeling that well this week, but I just can't sit still so I made these really basic bracelets.

18  soapy experimentation [lots o pictures] in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by SparkleCookie on: August 10, 2006 02:05:52 PM
I've been playing with melt & pour...

First I rediscovered the apple corer.  They smell like Apricot and Freesia.  Mmmm.  I still don't know how to cut the slices evenly.  And I know using the serrated knife wasn't my best idea ever... but they smell good.

with clear m&p

with yellow m&p

Then I tried embedding shapes.  This is a little weird because I started the purple fill with white m&p and ran out and had to switch to clear.  Also I poured it into a weirdly shaped plastic container... but it smells soapy like something from my childhood.

they're a little scratched up from being toted around in a plastic bag.  Smiley

19  melty goodness in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by SparkleCookie on: August 10, 2006 01:52:50 PM
I've been perfecting my bath melts.

I give you mocha hearts and peppermint twirls.  No color, but the hearts have silver mica in them.

(I know that orange isn't a very minty color but it's all I had...)

What do you think?  They smell pretty darn good.

20  two more necklaces in Beads: Completed Projects by SparkleCookie on: July 20, 2006 04:02:36 PM
I made these for the July Wishlist Swap.  She just received the package so now I can show them off.

This one is lapis and mother of pearl with sterling silver chain segments.

This one is glass beads and leaves.  It's my first really long necklace.
