161  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Necklace from resistors on: May 12, 2006 08:01:46 AM
Thanks everyone! Cheesy It was really fun to make something from something out of the ordinary. If anyone makes their own, I'd love to see it!

I definately want to get in on the swaps here, virgotabu, they seem like so much fun. I'm going to sign up for one as soon as I am eligible. Cheesy

This is a necklace made from some resistors. I've been wanting to do a whole bunch of necklaces from electronic bits and bobs, and this is my first one. Some of it's messed up, and there was definately a lot of trial and error involved in making this, but I still think it looks great overall. My next one will be even better.  Cheesy

I don't think putting one in the oven would srink it, it would probably just melt it. :/ You could try cutting one up to make it smaller. Cheesy

Strange, the pictures were working before! I updated my htaccess and they seem to be working fine now. Cheesy And yes it is indeed Luna.

Omg, that is totally awesome! What a great idea. I agree, a naturalesque frame would suit it well. The twigs/sticks idea sounds perfect.

Eee, this rocks! I love Advent Children! *fangirls for a moment* I love the shirt, I think the bows on the front worked out great. Smiley You could put the other chocobo on a bag or something, like a patch.

I'm new to Craftster, and I figured my first post here should include something interesting for you all to look at! Cheesy This forum rocks, I've been feeling quite inspired by it since I stumbled across it. <3

Without further ado, here's my latest creation, a necklace made with the inside bit of a floppy disk:

And here's me wearing it:

I poked a hole into the disk with a hot needle, then attached some jump rings, and threaded a suede cord through it. Pretty simple! Thanks for looking. ^^
