I saw these pillows at target for like $40 each at target. They were made out of weaved ribbon. I hate the colors for our living room. So I decided to make my own. I have to make 2 more. But this is the first one. I made it so it can can come off with no zipper or anything. If you want to know the technique let me know!

the pillow

The I made a matching blanket.

Any and all comments welcomed!! I love them!!

I read in a pattern that for circle rugs to go around and then when it starts to bowl up then to do 2 sc in each stitch to make it bigger. But then it does this curling thing. with this go away as i add more rounds? I hope this make sense. here is a pick after I sc twice in each stitch!

75  Finally finished after 4 years House in the mountains quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by annamhudson on: July 26, 2007 09:13:52 AM
I started this in 2003, i got the top finished right away. But stupid me decided that hand quilting would be great. Wrong. So I did some and then put it off for a long while. Now I finally finished it because the person who it was made for b-day was coming up. I finished it because Craftster has inspired me to finish my incomplete projects. I have many more quilts to finish!!

Any and all comments welcome. the more the better! I love comments!!

I received from andrethecat!! Thank you so much!!! The package really cheered me up! DH is a butt sometimes and makes me so frustrated!  Wink Grin Now this made me less grumpy... Enough babbling about my life the goods... FELTING YARN!! I have never tried it and wanted too. Now what to do???

I think she read my mind or house or something because I love purple and green, And the bottom variegated yarn is the color of my living room, at least some of it. I made a lap blanket and pillow in those colors!! Thank you so much again!!!

77  3 crocheted harry potter scarves, 2 Gryffindor and 1 slytherin in Crochet: Completed Projects by annamhudson on: July 10, 2007 02:51:25 PM
OK I finally finished a few of my scarves for our family. It took a little motivation to do it. My babysitter wants to borrow them for tonight because she is sitting for us tomorrow to see HP. So all i had to do was add the fringe and tassels and weave in the ends. I am glad she asked to borrow them so I would finish them cause I am someone who likes to start but not finish...lol Wink The one on the far left is actually 10 feet long!!! I didn't realize it until I put it on today and was like, why is this so long? So I measured it and was like OMG, Should I undo it or leave it? What would you all do? Advice is great!
Enjoy the pics!

the other 2 scarves are for my 3 year old and my baby, but I am planning on him growing in to it Roll Eyes

I love commets!

PS Now I have to finish my DH, I am half way there!!!

I am so excited!! I made my first stencil project. It was so fun and easy!!!! This is for the movie tomorrow night for my dh Smiley
I saw one that said you can slytherin into my bed for jammies, but i thought that would be too naughty. So I made this one instead.
Here is how i learned

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=44928.0

They didn't have the exact paint at the store, but i used a different kind and it went on good with one coat. I will have to see how it withstands the wash.
I love to stencil now!!!

I love comments!! Let me know what you think!

ME!!! i told my husband i DIDNT have to go this week/weekend and now i am DYING!!!!!  Roll Eyes

Well, if I had it MY way, I'd be going to the midnight showing, but he's a weeny & needs his "beauty rest." I am going absolutely crazy! I watched the Harry Potter weekend on the Family channel this past weekend & have watched GoF twice this week already!! I watched it yesterday afternoon & this morning. I feel like I'm starting to twitch! haha

I am itching to go tonight too but my husband gets up at 5am for work. And plus our sitter is going tonight. So we are going tomorrow night. I made my dh a shirt, Do you all want to see it.... Ok this is what he gets to wear tomorrow.

This is my first stenciling project. It says "you can Slytherin into my house" I saw one that said "you can slytherin into my bed," But I thought that would be naughty. So I made him this one. He wants one that says mudblood too. And so do I.  I am so proud of it...lol
I can't wait to see it!!!
