1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Charger and LadyBug Blanket on: August 23, 2007 05:14:27 PM
Hee hee... not on one blanket!

I made a Charger blanket for a coworkers birthday. I had very little time, so its a Q hook, double strand blanket o goodness. It's sc with a fpdc every so often.

The second yellow stripe is the same color as the first, wonky photo.

I also made a LadyBug blanket for a coworker who's niece is having a baby girl. She is registered for the cutest pink ladybug set at BabiesRUs. Its also double strand, baby clouds and simply soft, with a simple scalloped edge. I crocheted a ladybug and sewed it on the corner.

Does any one have these or something similar? Do you like them? Do they work?

I would like to purchase a couple, I think I could really use them on long car rides.

Joann's has them online, but they dont have all the sizes Sad

If you have them, where did you get them?

Sorry for all the q's, any comments or suggestions or whatnot are welcome, thanks!!!

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Red Paperboy Hat on: June 06, 2007 09:36:49 PM
This hat killed me. It started out as such a good idea. My aethetician said she couldnt find a red paperboy hat anywhere. I thought, I could make her one!! After hearing my plea, my fellow craftsters came thru, as always and provided me with this pattern.

This is the final product.

I am looking for a pattern for a paperboy hat, anyone have anything? I did a search here but couldnt find anything. I may try and wing it if I cant find a pattern. If you just run a search on yahoo for paperboy hat, you will see what style I am looking for. Thanks!
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Spam Musubi Ipod Holder on: May 02, 2007 08:14:49 PM
Yes, spam musubi. With a very picky 8 year old, I was shocked after our recent trip to Kauai to learn that she LOVES spam musubi. Seaweed and all, this is in honor of my daughters new favorite food.

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Peter D. Penguin on: February 18, 2007 09:58:27 PM
For some reason, this guy just looks like a Peter to me. The moment the hat contest was annouced, I knew I had to make a penguin. So without further ado, meet Peter!
