I have always been leary of buying old patterns in fear that some of thoes pieces will be missing. How often do you find that to be the case? Or do you feel like you can tell if all the pieces are there?

What's the best online source for books on making mascots or stuffies? I'm in the US.
I stumbled across a site awhile ago but didn't write down the name and now I can't find it.
It seems like last round ( I didn't participate just watched) a couple of people had great books they used.

I hope this isn't a stupid question but are these the tiny little matchboxes you get at places like Restaurants and bars or are they the long ones for fireplaces and BBq's ??

I just bought a pattern by Favorite things. I think its called the boot slipper. You could probably use this pattern but just make them tighter fitting. Its unusually cold here in S. California and I'm freezing so when I saw this pattern I was thinking ahhhh I could have warm feet. I bought some minky to make them out of.
