1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Wide leg jeans on: January 20, 2007 12:59:07 PM
Would anyone know how to make these from a pair of pants?  Do they have to be straight leg or can they be flaired at the bottom? DO I cut at the seam and add the fabric that way? Wouldnt adding more fabric to the side cause them to be really big fitting after wards? Any one know a pattern on here. I tried searching but I found nothing. THanks

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Resizing a pattern on: May 16, 2006 12:24:13 PM
Hi I got a pattern last night for gaucho pants. Simplicity 5062 (sp)? They came out awesome. But there to small. I thought since they had elastic around the band I could get away with the size I bought. I got an 18 and I'm usually about a 22 in a pattern size. But they don't make them that big. GRRRRRRR. So any ideas on how to make the pattern a little bit bigger. Its more in the butt area. Me and Jlo must be cousins because i so got the junk in the truck. Anyways any ideas will help tons thanks
4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / question about interfacing or fabric stiffening on: May 08, 2006 11:05:56 AM
What would make a fabric stay kind of stiff? I'm trying to make cell phone holders. They are coming out good just the whole fabric part not being to hard. Should i use card board and sew around it? I thought that might take to long!?! Anyway this is my first post. YAY! Ive been a lurker for awhile. Then i decided it was time to make an acct, and start showing of some of my talent. Its hard for me to finish a project. I can do only so much then i have to do something else. I think ADD is a good name for me. Don't ya think? Anyway any help would be wonderful
