I saved these awesome chairs from the dump, but I'm now not sure where to start to fix them. They're super rusty and my hubby doesn't think they can be fixed. I got some primer, and spray paint for metal, but I don't know if I should sand them or what to get them smoothed out and most of the old, chipped paint off.
If anyone has any ideas to help please let me know! Really anxious to get these done so I can enjoy them this summer!!

I've been busy making tons of owl. They're a nice distraction from end of the semester stresses

ok, i'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this or not, but i'm going to ask anyways
tonight i tried to paint the case for my phone, i cleaned it and sanded it but the paint doesn't seem to really be sticking and you can see all the brush strokes.
my question is, if tomorrow when it's dry i sand it a bit and use spray paint this time if it'll work?

so i've found this dress, and i want to make one like it for my halloween costume but i cannot figure out how to do it!


i mainly want to know how to make the skirt part, because i think i'm going to make a corset for the top.

And this shirt I found in my mom's closet. I guess it was some weightloss program from the 80's. This shirt rocks and I wish I could actually fit in it haha

i made all of these for this huge event on saturday
i was in such a rush because i was given such short term notice, but they turned out awesome for being my first time making tutus

this is what i whipped up today!

This thing was such a hassle for me to finish, I pulled more seams out while doing this piece than any other thing I've done. First I totally screwed up the hood and had to redo it, then like a dummy I bought the wrong kind of zipper and didn't realize it until I had already sewed it on.
But, it's FINALLY finished and I love it!

Nothing fancy, just a couple of diamonds
