1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Useless Fold Away Ironing Board on: June 25, 2009 12:15:46 PM
I'm moving into a new apartment in July - it's a historic 1920s house renovated into super cute studios. It has something like this in the kitchen:
http://www.millworkforless.com/images/ironaway/AL-42-prod.jpg

I asked them to tear it out and make it into a little cupboard, and they said no. So what can I do with it? It's cute, but I don't iron. And it's a tiny apartment, so anyway I could make it functional would be awesome.

Thanks!  Grin

Okay, I have this:

And I want to make something like:
http://whatthecraft.com/pics/ex/circ2.gif

When I try to follow the tutorial for circle skirt, I'm going to cut my circle right through his head. i dont want to do that... I'd like for Batman to be on my Batman skirt... What do I do? It can be different from the one pictured, I just want to make it into a cute skirt that you can see him on. Thanks! I'm new to sewing.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / MTG Side Table on: August 11, 2007 12:33:41 PM
We needed a side table in our new living room, so I bought this at a second hand store:

Some paint, contact paper and common cards later:

*In the top cubbie of the table, there's the multi-deck case I reconstructed, will hold six decks and my counters/dice.

Thanks for looking!

Here is the pink kitchen (and rest of my condo) now that we have moved and are all settled. For anyone who doesn't know, I've just moved from Orlando, FL to Missoula, MT for grad school. It's my first place.

10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / warhol shirt! on: July 03, 2007 11:53:12 AM
I am packing (to move to Montana) and I found this Andy Warhol I did a few years ago. He is too small for me, but I love it. I hate to throw it out. It's about a medium size spaghetti strap, and I'd be happy to send it to anyone who wants it. I think it could go into a yellow envelope with a few stamps, right? PM me if you want it!
Taken! Thanks Smiley
