1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Re: Poor Man's Silk Screen - TUTORIAL, IMG Obese on: February 03, 2008 03:10:55 PM
wow, im so excited about trying this
i'm so glad people have left their advice =) just found out the printers and photocopiers at my dad's work use toner... woo!
my dad also explained that inkjet and bubble printers use liquid ink, and laser printers and such use powder and kind of burn into the paper
..sort of

ok so that probably wasn't worth knowing, but just if anyone was interested ^_^

Um, I am! As I've been reading this post, I've wondered why inkjet wouldn't work. Thanks for answering my question!

That is really nice and unexpected. You did such a good job on all the different textures. You should definitely display it somehow.

This is one of the coolest embroidery projects I've seen in awhile.

I absolutely love the turquoise - it's wonderfully fresh. And your stitching is lovely! Great job all around!

lynbird22, I absolutely LOVE everything you made!!!! Those pillowcases are so awesome! The A's look amazing! And the book cover is so cute in pink with white stitching (nice touch!).  Grin

Thanks, vaginastar. As always, you're my biggest fan! The stitching on the a is actually a light green color, but it looks white in the pics. Tongue

Thanks for commenting!
