Ooo, I love it! If I saw something like that in a store I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Great job, I love the combination of the grey wool, the wooden buttons and the bright red beads.

You take beautiful photographs. The ladybug photo is gorgeous.

cheapest and easiest stuff for stenciling? everybody says freezer paper, but i dunno how much that costs because i cant get it where i live. I use manila folders and this glue...  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59721.0I just paint it onto the back of the stencil, stick the stencil onto the fabric while the glue's wet, and paint the stencil. then, wait for the paint to dry, peel off the stencil, heat set it, and give the fabric a quick lukewarm rinse to get rid of any glue. You can also just use spray adhesive, but i'm too tight to buy any  Tongue
For anything else about stencilling i recommend you head over to the stencilling board  Grin

Thanks! I have a lot of homework to do today, so tomorrow I'm just going to explain to her that things have been really busy lately and I'll get her her present before the end of the week.

I definatly think I'm going to decorate a binder for her to keep her music in. I'd also like to make her a tote bag of some sort to carry around her music to and from her lessons.. I can probably find some cheap fabric. But my problem with my sewing machine is that I can't seem to wind the bobin properly. I've read the entire intructions ATLEAST 10 times and everytime I do it, something gets messed up. Also, I'd probably stencil the GN'R logo onto the tote bag.. What's the cheapest and easiest kind of paper I can get to do stencils, and how do I use it? Thanks for all the awesome ideas!

Alright, I've been super busy the past week or so and I havn't had the time to get my best friend anything for her birthday. She's turning fifteen, and she's fairly girly. She is OBSESSED with Guns N' Roses and her uncle is getting her a bass for her birthday. I'm also pretty low on cash right now. (I probably have about $10.. yikes.) I have no clue how to work my (brand new) sewing machine, and can sew by hand okay. Also, I can draw pretty well. Any ideas?
