1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Boobholder/Minisweater (link to free pattern!) on: July 31, 2005 04:20:34 PM
How does one join the knitalong blog?  I've been looking for a link on the blog itself, but haven't found it.

I'm about halfway through a boobholder in Noro SG #34.  I love it!
2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: solutions for mosquito bites? on: July 05, 2005 01:18:28 PM
I use Lavendar oil-- works like a charm, I have a bottle of it that I use almost exclusively for mosquito bites.

Puppymama, I used Noro Silk Garden in colorway 84.  It's gorgeous, but dropping stitches was a pain-- it was very sticky.

Finished!  It's actually been finished for about a week, but hey, I'm slow with pictures.

5  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Ultra Femme from SnBN-- Anyone? on: April 11, 2005 12:02:04 AM
Well, I've started-- and frogged.  I'm having MAJORLY hard time with the picot edging. I'm wondering if I could just do a picot cast on and call it a day?
6  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: "Tempting" knitalong - Winter Knitty on: April 11, 2005 12:00:24 AM
I agree with you, dramageek-- I like the feel of the yarn, but it's WAY too mushy for the sweater!

You look great!

I actually am using the called-for yarns GGH mohair and Rowan All Seasons cotton-- I *really* like the look. On DIY's site, they show it with a nude bra and it looks nice as well.

I've run out of batteries, however I think it "fixed" itself.  The drop came out with six stitches instead of five; and it ended at the YO.  So, all is well, there's just a little inconsistency that no one's going to notice but me.

9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: ballet-wrap top from Rebecca on: April 02, 2005 10:27:08 AM
I'm going to work on this while I work on Ultra Femme from SnBN.

Do you think that Katia Ingenua would work?  I have about six skeins of it and I figured that would probably be enough.
10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Ultra Femme from SnBN-- Anyone? on: April 02, 2005 10:25:51 AM
As soon as I finish my Clapotis, I'm going to start Ultra Femme.  Anyone want to join me?
