Well, they told me it was there first ever warehouse sale- so if it went well they may try it again. It was listed in the Community Calendar section of the Asbury Park Press- so if they have another one- it'll be posted there. I'll try to post it here too.

To add more black and white circles you can try poking small holes, with a straight pin, in the circles, around the outside bottom, and use small jump ring to attach new ones. You can find the small rings in most craft stores and catalogs. To keep the plastic from bending when you are trying to pierce it- put them on a board first- and use a sturdy pin or small nail to make the hole.

I also find that parchment paper, the kind you buy in rolls for baking, works really well for wrapping cards to keep them from being damaged. I tried ribbon once but the dye from the ribbon smudged the edges of my card so I stick with parchment- just fold and tape.

Thanks for the tip about the wax- did it distort the clearness of your image at all? I know you were worried about that? I recently had a similar problem with an altered Altoid tin I had mod-podged. Very tacky to the touch. Someone recommended applying a coating of "Crystal glaze" ,which is available in most craft stores, which dries to a clear, hard finish. it worked oretty well for me.

What a great way to let your prof. know you were really thinking about him for the thank you. Much better than a standard store bought thank you any day!

These are great illustrations. I love the idea of finding older images at flea markets. I went to one this weekend and got some copies of Family circle magazine from 1957, 58, 59, 60, &61. I am having fun with all the old ads. Your cards have given me great inspiration for what to use mine for.

Wow! What a great piece. I also love how you kept the original theme intact, yet truly accentuated the key elements that drew you to it in the first place. Good Job- I don't think you need to be nervous about posting entries any more!

Any scrapbookers or rubberstampers living in central Nj should try to get to #15 Park Rd in Tinton Falls, NJ. The Ranger co. is having their first ever warehouse sale and it is great. They are selling many of their products at only $6.oo /lb! You fill a plastic bucket and fill it with whatever you want and they weigh it at the register. I bought a rubber brayer, 17 assorted stamp pads, including 6 rainbow pads, 12 mounted stamps, 2 bottles of stamp cleaner, 2 stamp cleaning pads, Perfect Pearls starter kit, liquid pearls pastell asst, 3 jars of embossing powders, packs of glossy card/envelope packs and 3-d pop out shapes- all this for $24.00. I swear this is true- but tomorrow at 3pm they are done. So if you need a bargain in your life- get there. Sat, May6, 10 am to 3pm. You won't be sorry  Patti M
