I received an awesome package today from danderson, including an adorable stuffie monster, a really awesome quilt block, a Quilting Arts magazine, and some great fat quarters. I can't post pictures (no camera), but I wanted to give a big public THANK YOU for brightening my otherwise dismal Monday.

I snapped a few quick photos before I sent everything!  Here they are:

This year, if you bought all the items/people in the traditional 12 Days of Christmas song, it would cost you CDN$85,233.

Which is $75,227.70 in USD!
Holy Cow! That's a lot of money...I'm wondering if I should let my hubby in on that one. He kind of balked when I told him how many gifts I was going to be doing for this swap *chuckles*. (I had told him before I even joined, and he was ok with it. He'd just forgotten lol. Don't worry, sewpixie, I'm not getting in trouble Wink)

*chuckles* ya know... I wouldn't even know where to put any of the stuff from the song, if it'd been litteral! There's barely enough room for 2 people and 2 cats in my appartment lol, let alone a partridge, a pear tree, 2 doves (oh how the cats would love these), 3 hens, 4 calling birds, 6 geese, 7 swans, 8 maids, 9 ladies, 10 lords, 11 pipers and 12 drummers! The rings, those I could find room for Wink

And let's not forget the cows that accompany the maids...they are a-milking afterall...  Wink

To answer the sheep questions...

Yes it is crocheted, and I used chenille yarn and a loop stitch to make it super soft and cuddly... Cheesy

I'm glad that she found a happy home and a great name...LOL!!!

Can you get your hands on one of those old mail boxes with the little flag on the side??

You could just get an old one of those that looks all beat up and well used and put the postcards in there...?
