sarahn - the front part is made up of 2 pieces crossed over each other - so it would be quite easy to pull one side down in order to breast feed. Actually, it'd be great for breast feeding because the other side would stay put.

I usually wear about a 20-22 off the rack - I made this in size 22. It could *easily* stretch to fit larger sizes & still look great on them if you used the right jersey.

I followed the pattern exactly, made no alterations & I LOVE this.

I have to say - this dress has never, ever done anything for me & I have always wondered why so many people have gone crazy for this pattern....

and then I saw your dress! And now I understand! It's beautiful!

When I was a kid, my mom would tie my hair up in rags to get curly hair. I loved how it looked, but what a pain it was to twist my hair around all those strips of fabric! But *these*....These are truly a genius idea!!

Oh, Superstitch - my heart breaks for you! You put so much time & effort into Thermal. Maybe some time apart will be good - who knows, in a month or so you might try it on & it won't be as bad as you thought?

I've finally put the buttons on mine & weaved in all the ends & I'm really, really happy with how it turned out:



I used elan Baby Cashmere - about 18 balls of the stuff. It's *so* soft. This took me 6 months to finish, but I'm glad I soldiered on.

OMG! I'm *DONE*!

I am *finally* on the sleeve cap of the second sleeve. This sweater has taken me for.ev.err to knit (I knit lots & lots of other things at the same time though, so I guess if I had just focused, I'd have finished it long ago) This sweater is going to get done this week!

I got my yarn for this in the mail yesterday! I cast on last night & so far so good - I'm making two of these for christmas gifts, but it's so beautiful that I may have to make a third for me

I'm using Elann.com's Super cable aran & size 8 needles.
