I just saw a jewelry stand made out of natural Manzanita branches stuck to a base on ebay and people had bid on it for $35.  I like yours better, by painting it white you can see the jewelry better.

If you're a sole proprietor you can use your social security number as your federal tax I.D. number.
5  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Homemade Oreo Cookies on: July 03, 2008 07:15:07 PM
I printed out your recipe a while back and tried it.  It was Awesome!!  Last week  my daughter requested the cookies and I pulled out the recipe.  Because I'm trying to lose weight for a reunion I didn't make them right away (knew I wouldn't be able to help myself).  So, last night I went to get the recipe and it was gone, I had misplaced it.  AHHH!  I searched high and low and I couldn't find it.  So I decided to go on the internet and find it again.  For some reason I thought it was on allrecipes.com, it wasn't.  I searched for two hours, I finally found a recipe on a different site that, from memory, seemed like it might be like yours.  I still wasn't satisfied.  I finally remembered that you put starfish on yours and with that keyword found you here on craftster.  Should have known, all the best things are to found here.  At any rate, I will be making these cookies tonight and diet be damned I'm going to enjoy them.  Although this is an old thread I wanted you to know how much we love them.
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: You know you're a craftster when... (part THREE!) on: October 15, 2007 11:30:15 PM
After a forced hiatus from ykyacw, you get confused  ???because there were over 500 pages.... I was gone that long?  What page was I on?  Oh well, I know it was about 200 so i'll start from there.  Undecided This all looks familiar, keep going, keep going, keep going, sheesh this is taking forever to get through...page 580, oh, they combined everything, now I get it.  Finally, I get to the new thread, YAY  Cheesy 27 pages of ykyacw, I'm in heaven.

YKYACW you can't find your stitch markers, so you think about using your wedding ring instead.

(Fortunately for my marriage, I dug up some scrap yarn and used that.)

I got tired of using my wedding band so I bought a little bag of fake engagement rings in the party favor section at Walmart.  They open slightly.  Works like a charm and I don't forget my ring and have to unravel my project.

You Know Your Addicted To This Thread When--you read through 40 odd pages just so you could quote another craftster.

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: 911(hehe) help reading pattern.. on: March 14, 2007 03:00:04 PM
I'm fairly new at reading patterns, but the books seem to indicate that your first one is right.  You do the first two rows, repeat rows 3-6 until you get the size you want and then finish with row 7.  Like I said, I'm new, so if I'm wrong could someone please correct me.  Although, so far, all of my patterns have turned out what they're supposed to look like.
