I'm in Seattle, Washington.
  • A Surprise!
  • Handmade toys/stuffies/amigurumi - thank you twistedfates - but I'll take more if anyone wants to make me more Grin
  • Anything from my wists
  • Anything relating to penguins
  • Anything relating to Iowa...think corn & pigs (I really miss home, please no sports related stuff)
  • Knitted cuffs, bright colors in cotton (I already have 2 but would love more) http://keeponknittinginthefreeworld.blogspot.com/2006/07/band-cuffs-free-pattern.html
  • Screen printed t-shirt in a medium
  • Mittens or Gloves (all of mine have holes) http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall02/PATTbroadstreet.html
  • boxes (I seem to put everything small into cigar boxes) thank you twistedfates
  • Craft Magazines or Books, I don't care if they are used.
  • Fabric
  • Yarn
  • rubber stamping stuff (I want to try it out)

I am 23 and for the first time living on my own. Two months ago I moved to Seattle from Iowa, and I really miss it at times (especially all the grass and trees). I am a fashion design student, and have already gone to school for graphic design. I sew, knit, paper craft, paint (which I moved without all that stuff), and I think that's about it.

George is kinda big, but if he stays in the states, he'll fit in a flat rate $8.10 box with room for more stuff. I'm a fashion design student, so I had to try the skills I'm learning in school out on George, and I'm excited to make some more clothes for another stuffie!

I think I may be sending George, and incase that was the fact, I had to make him some new clothes (since we moved from Iowa to Seattle and forgot his old ones). So I thought I'd help George show off his new clothes!

Thank you, I received last week, and I love everything. So does Charlie, I would have used the apron when I was doing dishes, but he was still laying on it.  Cheesy

It's been a busy with moving and starting school. I'm sending tomorrow, and will have a dc number then.
29  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Fair Isl U-Neck from Fall 06 Vogue Knitting on: October 28, 2006 02:25:40 PM
The magazine says: Very close-fitting pullover with shaped side seams...

Okay, I got this issue of VK and that's when I decided that I needed to knit this sweater. I never had the ambition to knit a sweater before, let alone a fair isle. I've never done either, but I'm going to get yarn, and try...I only hope it works. At least there's this knit along to help me!
