241  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Making your own dress form on: January 06, 2005 10:54:23 AM
I made one about six months ago and found out that if you use enough tape (lots and lots) when you're cut out of it it still holds its shape. Then all I had to do was line up the edges and tape em up.  Smiley

BUt I used duct tape though, so I don't know how the masking tape will work.

Good Luck!!  Cheesy
242  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: decoupage a wall on: May 14, 2004 10:15:49 AM
I'm in the middle of decoupaging my closet ceiling. Modge Podge should work for you (It worked for me) I have a medium sized walk-in closet that I use as an art room (I have enough room for a small table, a chair, and a shelf for my stuff. So far the ceiling looks really good. Hopefully I'll finish soon! Smiley

244  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Retro Book Clutch on: May 07, 2004 08:45:29 AM
Thanks to your inspiration last weekend I made my own book purse. I'm not overly fond of clutches so  I added handles to mine. Unfortunatly my book was not very thick so I can't put much stuff in it. It's really cute though and I've gotten lots of compliments on it.
245  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Sweatshirt Skirt?? on: May 04, 2004 12:33:43 PM
I found the directions for the cutest skirt made of an old sweatshirt. Unfortunatly I don't have the time to make it now. So I'm passing it on.

One of my friends made a pair of troll earings. I dont't know quite how she did it, but she used mini trolls and attached them to the earing hook by their hair. It looks really good.
247  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re:button button, who's got the button on: April 29, 2004 10:33:51 AM
I took a really cheap plain V-neck shirt and sewed buttons around the neck. I spaced them out and kinda followed the shape of the shirt. It looked really cool.  Cheesy
