so this has been sitting on my kitchen table for hella days now... i've been staring at it for a while haha.

i'm gonna leave it shirt/skirt. i definately should have planned it out better to make the skirt not as thick at the waistband. as thick as it is, its reeeaally difficult to attach to the bottom of the shirt. so, it's not gonna be a dress, but i'm happy with it

i'm gonna try and figure out how to put grommets into fabric next... haha wish me luck?

Should i keep the hem raw and ragged?

The back is actually a corset type lace-up and i used the pink leopard fabric... but it's 5:30 in the morning and i'm mentally unable to figure out a way to take a picture of my own back righ tnow... so that will come later!

right now its a skirt/shirt combo but i kinda want to make it into a dress, what do you think?

That is such a rad idea!  I've been wanting to turn a pair of jeans into a bag for ages but I'm worried Ill ruin it and waste the jeans.  But now if it goes wrong I can make them into a bag instead

One question though, will pipe cleaners be strong enough once you've got all your books in it?

Yeah, the pipe cleaners are strong enough, but they poke like nobodys business, which is annoyying.... but eh, whatever.
