I made this for my friend for her birthday, I hope she finds some sort of use for it!  I used the awesome tutorial for making a lined zippered pouch by e.r.i.k.a (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0), and just added a strap to the side to make it a clutch.  A strangely square clutch, but i nevermind that.

So yesterday afternoon I woke up and thought, "Hooray, I'm seeing The Dark Knight tonight!"  (yeah, I couldn't make the midnight showing.....*sad*).  Immediately after that thought came realization: "I have nothing Batman-related to wear.  CRAP." 

Seeing as I didn't have the money to buy a new shirt and I didn't have time to do anything elaborate, I just grabbed an old black tanktop and stenciled the batman logo on it.  luckily the new bat symbol is a cinch to draw and cut out on account of all the straight lines.

This measurements for this tote were horrible.....I made it too skinny and too long, and the strap is too short.  Trying to reach in and grab stuff while I'm carrying it on my shoulder is quite an ordeal.  Ah well, next time I'll do better.....

Bat's day is today, and seeing as it's supposed to be over 94 degrees out (apparently God hates goths), I decided to go for a headband instead of a top hat to complete my outfit.  I made the skulls out of polymer clay, and the headband is just some leftover black velvet with  lace and bias tape sewn onto it. 

I saw CheyElizabeth's awesome tutorial on easy snap wallets and decided to make one for my friend for her birthday. 



I also made her an etched mirror so the wallet could double as a mirror pouch:







Random Fact: I have no idea how to properly install a snap button, so projects that involve them usually end in sore teeth

i made it for my friend's birthday, but i was sorely tempted to keep it for myself.  i've been meaning to make another bag like it, but i'm so lazy......

i used Avery's dark t-shirt transfer for the images, but for some reason the striped cloth bled through the white parts.  blah.
