31  Re: Shop the Swap - Round 6 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by lafemmefatale on: September 15, 2007 11:00:10 AM
I'm in!!! yay!
I'm trying to add in stuff as I get it in the camera, do the points seem ok?

-Crafted picture frames (1 point)
I have a set of two of the green ones, one says "Create" "Imagine" "Hope" and the other says "Inspire" "Believe" "Dream"

-Ribbon bangle bracelets (2 sizes) (2 for 1 point)

I've been making a million of these and I can make them in pretty much any color.  I have a cuff size which fits up by my elbow and wrist size which should fit any wrist because it has a slit.
-Bottle Cap Jewelry (1 point apiece)

-Homemade postcards (5 for 1 point)

-Panta - made for me by someone wonderful a while ago but it doesn't look good on me so I've never used it! Sad

-cracked CD necklaces - again, made for me by someone wonderful here on craftster once upon a time. (1 point apiece)

33  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap 2 in The Swap Gallery by lafemmefatale on: November 27, 2006 08:15:58 PM
meshell, that is one awesome swap package.  But I have to say I'm reallyr eally happy with mine.

Are you ready to see how well my partner knows me?

Just look at how well my stocking matches my house...

Please ignore how fat and weird I look.  The batteries to the camera were dying as we were taking the pictures.  She even made a tiny stocking for my MEOW thunder!  Oh yeah, and you can kind of see my new NESTLACE because I forgot to photograph it cause I took it out and put it RIGHT ON.  Its so gorgeous!
And Thunder's stocking was full of fun toys that she LOVES.

And here are all my other goodies!

I got peppermint tea, this awesome giraffe cork board magnet things, a supersweet giraffe bracelet, awesome painted pots, homemade christmas cards and tags, a candle of my favorite scent, some candy, and some sweet pajama pants!  The pajama pants are on the floor in the picture but lik eI said, these pictures kind of suck because the battery was dying. Sad
And here is my absolute favorite part (besides the nestlace).

Take a look at that gorgeous painting that she sent me!!! It matches my walls perfectly and everything.  And now, when I get the tree of life tattooed on my ribs, I'm totally getting a heart put in the middle.  That is such a cute idea.

YOU ROCK PIRATECORE!!!  (And I hope your package gets there soon!)

Here is your teaser pic - There is alot of stuff hidden in the white stuff because some of it wasn't wrapped so I just pulled it over.  But thats all you get for now.

Finally, I can get some pictures up of what people have sent me!

First, gorgeous earrings from Captain Riley.  It's overcast here so most of the pictures don't do any sort of justice!
I love the leapard print ones and the star ones best.
ACTION SHOT!  see how they hit my collarbone?  I love them.

I recieved alot this weekend so I have more pictures coming.

It will be perfect to carry my makeup or drawing pencils in while I'm in PARIS this summer!!!
and on the inside is this gorgeous eiffel tower fabric

She makes me so glad I joined craftster and so happy and hopeful about swapping in general.
Thank you madmatigan!

37  Re: I don't know what it's called, BUT I MADE IT ! (+2 & tutorial, pic heavy) in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by lafemmefatale on: May 04, 2006 04:31:08 PM
I just made one!! I left the collar on though because the fabric is really ugly without having the cowgirl excuse.

Obviously a tank top goes under it but I've been sewing in a bra all day and I'm lazy.  Sorry...
Thanks so much for the idea and the easy to follow tute.  I'm going to turn all of my hot long sleeved shirts into this now. Smiley

38  My new clutch! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by lafemmefatale on: April 18, 2006 03:45:01 PM
I posted this in the bag contest so I hope it's ok that I post it here for feedback as well.
This is the first bag I have made for myself and I love love love it!!!!

It is made with vintage paisley fabric and a jersey shirt that didn't look good on me but felt so soft.

What do you think?
