1  Buddy Cube Plushies in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Ariannrhod on: June 03, 2009 09:20:45 PM
I've gotten caught up in making these, I made the first one for my father-in-law as a christmas present, and then I made one for a student of his who after seeing the first one begged me to make one for him. I recently made a few to sell at an Artist Alley table at a convention that my friends and I shared.

2  Re: The Book-Lovers Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Ariannrhod on: October 23, 2008 10:30:38 AM
Sent finally, sorry for running late.
And a few pics to tempt *Sly*Sev*Steph*'s pallet till it arrives

I hope she loves everything, I tried to make things that were not only nifty but extremely useful too. Course then I added some small not so useful, but still neat, items.
I really hope she likes them, I had a ton of fun coming up with ideas, and I learned how to make M&P soap too.

3  Happiness Bunny in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Ariannrhod on: March 22, 2008 05:09:14 PM
A friend of mine asked me to make this bunny for her little sister to take to Megacon

I only had three days to make it

I think it turned out fairly well with the exception that his tail looked alot more like a penis, that one I couldn't figure out how to fix.

His bowtie is Crochet, his eye's are buttons and his mouth is just sharpied on, he's made out of pink felt, and stuffed with cheap polyfil, I put gold wire through the ears to make them stiffer and to help them be more shapeable.

4  Harry Potter Scarves, What's a fair price? in Get Product and Website Opinions by Ariannrhod on: February 25, 2008 09:11:55 AM
With the sixth Harry Potter film set to be released in the US sometime in September of this year, I'm of a mind to try and sell some of the house scarves I've gotten so good at making as gifts for my friends and family. But I have no idea what is a fair price to ask for them. Each scarf is  about six and a half feet long, and takes me roughly three days to make. Materials for each scarf come to $4.43.
And they look like this

Ravenclaw

and Slytherin
Any suggestions on what anyone thinks is a fair price would be immensly helpful.

5  Naked GIR in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Ariannrhod on: February 15, 2008 02:37:23 PM
It took me three weeks but I finally finished my little Robot GIR

he's watching the angry monkey show

Isn't he cute.
He was really tricky to figure out, but I'm really glad I made him.
I made him with Caron simply soft yarn using a 4.25mm Boye hook, and stuffed him with cheap polyfil stuffing, but I made him so tightly none of his stuffing shows and he's really cuddly.

6  I made a hat, this one's got GIR on it. in Crochet: Completed Projects by Ariannrhod on: December 13, 2007 10:37:13 AM
So this is my first attempt ever at making a hat, it turned out a little tighter then I wanted it to be, but it still fits.

7  Re: Harry Potter Scarves currently consume my life in Crochet: Completed Projects by Ariannrhod on: November 29, 2007 01:26:10 PM
I finally finished my Ravenclaw. I agree with Endlessly, Ravenclaw has the prettiest colors. And I'm sorry cutek94, as I'm self taught I'm not really sure to explain how I make them, I know each row is 28 stiches, and the whole square is 58 rows, I hope that's helpful.

Thanks for all the positive comments from everyone. Hopefully I'll be able to get the other two scarves finished in time for Christmas.

8  Re: Any Ideas in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Ariannrhod on: November 26, 2007 08:27:36 PM
I did actually manage to make my dress as similar to hers as I think is possible, I used wire from a hanger to make the V in the back stay in place, I got foam cups to keep my girls up and to make them look even bigger then they normally are, and held the whole thing up with double sided tape. It went surprisingly well, at least until I stepped into a room light by blacklight, next time I need to remember an under layer.

10  Harry Potter Scarves currently consume my life in Crochet: Completed Projects by Ariannrhod on: November 26, 2007 08:12:36 PM
My current goal in life is to make all four House scarves from Harry Potter before Christmas, since I can't knit to save my soul I'm gonna do them all by crochet. Each one is 6 feet long and 6 inches wide, and made with Caron Simply Soft yarn and a 6mm hook.

So far I have only completed Slytherin. But I'm almost finished with Ravenclaw. I will post pictures of each one as I finish them.
