Has anyone ever spun Suffolk wool?  A neighbor has offered me some that's fairly clean, but who doesn't think it can be spun.  Suggestions?  Thanks, Jill

Hi all.  I just recieved a small amount of llama wool (hair) from a friend of a friend.  It's clean with no debris, but this will be my first time spinning from raw materials. (I have spun recycled yarn.)  Do I need to card it?  Any other pointers?  Any project ideas?  Thanks, Jill

I think this is something that we do just in Texas, but I hope not.  Anyway, is there anyone out there who makes their own mums?  If so, where do you get your supplies?  I am looking for a wholesale distributor or something similar, since I want to make them for 7 (yes 7, we're kind of a Brady Bunch family) nieces and nephews and their dates.  Thanks!

What is your favorite way of documenting your projects?  Do you write a journal with notes and photos?  Do you keep a sample of the swatch? Do you keep a collection of yarn labels in a shoebox with notes scribbled in the margins?  Do you keep notes and photos online?
