Oh wow, I came back and saw all these replies... cool!

-  I got the resin kit on-line at Dick Blick and the dyes were there too....and the molds. The kit comes with the resin and catalyst..the mold and dye are sold seperately but they are not expensive at all.

 - I did not dry out any of the grass or moss. I got it right out of my yard and put it in the tray.

 *****THE TRICK IS*** put a thin clear layer down first...push the grass or whatever into the clear layer and let it set. Then mix up a colored layer and pour it in last. The back is a deep color and the front, because it is clear ,really shows off the object.

   Anyone can do this...jus make sure you have a window near by because it is kind of a strong smelling (and unhealthy) chemical.

 This was really easy, I bought an easy cast resin set and some transparent dyes. I have no idea what to do with these but in the future I am going to embed some images and make Christmas ornaments.
