I've strated making this scarf and it looks beautiful. I'm a bit worried anyway about how to blocking it because I've never done it before. Is someone willing to share experience or maybe better some pictures? Embarrassed

Well, I didn't take a picture, but what I did was I soaked the scarf thoroughly in cold water and Eucalan and I gently squished the water out, then I laid the quite-damp scarf in a towel and wrapped it up and wrung it out.  Then I pinned the scarf to my spare bed with about fifty pins, along the edges, stretching the lace pattern just enough so that it opened up, but not so that it was warped the stitches.  Then I left it until it was perfectly dry, and unpinned it.  Now, this is the first time I have blocked lace, so I am not sure if I did this right.  Anyone want to add or improve upon this?
