That's a pretty sweet bracelet. I love Goodwill and Salvation Army thrift stores, they've always got the best games! I got scrabble for $1 awhile back and I've made a ton of stuff out of it! It'd be cool to see a bracelet made with those and some seed beads or something, maybe drill two holes through the wood and then make a bracelet with two strands and a bunch of beads. But I like the one you made just how it is! It's pretty darn cool if you ask me!

I tried selling my crafts on ebay long before I ever thought of etsy and I was never able to sell any of them. So I gave up on ebay and decided to open up an etsy shop two weeks ago. I've chosen to keep my prices reasonable (not $20 for a pair of earrings like some people charge) and that has seemed to work. Ever since I opened my etsy shop, I've sold 10 things and made a lot more than I ever expected on ebay. I think if you're trying to buy or sell your handmade crafts to buyers who appreciate them, I'd chose etsy, hands down.

colored pencils really work? wow thats sort of crazy! i must try it. if you don't mind answering, did you use the pencil before or after you shrunk them?

Yeah, it seems odd that something as cheap as those colored pencils would actually produce color. But I colored them before I baked them, and the colors ended up being more vibrant after baking (I guess because the color molecules shrunk together or something)

i really like them! as a matter of fact, i made some shrinky dink charms today! anyways what do you use to draw them? it doesn't look like you use sharpie.

Actually, I did use sharpie! It's weird how when it shrunk down it looked more like paint or something, but yeah, I for the donnie darko ones I used a thick black sharpie, and a thin one for the keyboard and for outlining the robots. For the color stuff I just used the dinky (no pun intended) colored pencils that were in the box. Thanks for the compliment!

Those are great! I think they would make awesome presents! As to sewing vinyl, I don't really have any suggestions. I made an ipod cozy with some vinyl the other night, and it was an almost-disaster. But it looks like you've done a good job with it!
