1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Over the Rainbow room on: July 16, 2006 09:00:24 PM
I wanted to share the link to this room, decorated in an Over the Rainbow theme by an on-line friend a few years ago.  I think it's pretty inspirational, and a lot of fun to see.  (Click on the box that says Robin's Toto-ly Oz Room).

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Amber Celt Necklace and Earrings on: July 05, 2006 02:18:50 PM
The necklace is made of memory wire strung with some bumpy amber colored glass beads, base metal bead caps, and some metal beads carved with sort of Celtic-looking images.  The flat round charm hangs at the back of my neck when I'm wearing the necklace, and also has Celtic carving.  I scanned these, so the pic is not very sharp.  I've worn these with a t-shirt and jeans, and with a long sleeveless black dress.

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Little gypsy bottle on: June 30, 2006 10:26:38 AM
This little glass bottle is about 5 inches tall.  I think it's cute.  Smiley

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Scarab Bracelet on: June 29, 2006 07:04:57 PM
This bracelet fits like a cuff.  It's made of mostly green delicas.  The scarab and the row of brown beads down the middle are wood.  There are some inexpensive gold seed beads scattered around, too.

5  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Lost a sculpture site on: June 29, 2006 12:36:52 AM
A few months ago I started a polymer clay pixie or elf, inspired by a site that I stumbled upon.  Now I can't find it!  The artist made fantastic little sculptures, and she had a tutorial showing how to make an elf (or maybe she called them pixies).  She started out with the wire armature, went on to show how to make the head and face, then the body and limbs.  My little guy has his head and body, but wires sticking out for arms and legs.  Does anyone know the site I'm talking about, or the name of the artist?  I have a feeling she has removed her lessons because I've searched and searched and can't find it.

Thanks polyclay artists!
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Kalona Blue (another bracelet) on: June 26, 2006 02:03:19 PM
My daughter liked this one, so now it belongs to her.  Smiley

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Coloring Outside the Lines on: June 26, 2006 01:59:08 PM
This was my first stab at making a peyote bracelet.  The beads were random sizes, so the bracelet turned out kind of wavy and funky, but I like it.  Smiley

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Turquoise Bracelet on: June 26, 2006 01:52:55 PM
I made this bracelet awhile back using some beads that I bought in my hometown.
