...Might be able to make use of the idea around a window later, though...

I used a similar idea around the window in my granddaughter's bedroom.  She also has a fairy theme (you can see some of them on the walls on each side of the windows if you look realllly close).  I love the purple lights in yours!

weedflower, your fabric sounds pretty!

I'm late with my yellow craft, but still within the legal limit I think.   Grin  I was working on her up until today.  I wanted to put embellishments on her.  I tried fringe.  She didn't like it.  I tried picot edging--still no go.  So I left her "plain."  She seems to look her best that way.

The little star mirror is so cute AliBeachGrl.

And your citrus zest earrings are really pretty miss-a-achoo.  Are they heavy?

Here's a WIP pic of my yellow beaded doll.  I haven't worked on her for a couple of days, but I keep picking her up and looking at her.  The pic looks a bit darker than she really is. Do you like her?

anyone is welcome at any time, there isn't any specific start or stop date.

and post pics!

Okay, I've got pics.  Smiley

Here's a link to the shrine for my dad that I posted in the color craftalong (scroll down to my name)::

Since then I've made 2 more.

My son wrote a poem called Power In Water, and I made this one for him.  The picture inside is hard to capture in a photo.  It's from a little Japanese calendar and is a pic of a waterfall.  I used a clear glass flat marble to represent a drop of water and sort of magnify part of the waterfall.  The words on the back are the last line of the poem.  It says, "Remember well the power in water and know that your spirit lives."

The next one I made for my daughter-in-law as a belated Mother's Day gift.  The little silver blocks below his picture say "Angel," and the word on the heart on back says "Love."

Uluru, wish we could see your jewelry better, but what we can see looks pretty.

Sewknitter, cute purse!  I like the green with polka dots, and the braided handle with flower looks great.

I made a pair of pink asymmetrical earrings for June using some beads I had in my stash.

Hi, this is my first post.  This sounds like fun, and I've already made something green for May.  Inspired by Amaryllisrose's beautiful little pocketshrines, I decided to make one in honor of my dad who died of leukemia in 1991.  He loved nature, fishing and cardinals, and was in the army during WWII.

Now to figure out how to post the pics.
