15  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / TO DYE OR NOT TO DYE on: March 25, 2005 01:56:42 PM

I reconstructed this t-shirt into a braided tank top, but my problem is what to do with it now.  I was thinking about dying it or tie-dying it, but tye-dye looks so cliche or something like that.  I also thought about embroidering, but it is really thin fabric. So, if anyone could please give me suggestions that would be AMAZING!

20  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Crackled Marbles on: September 09, 2004 03:58:25 PM
I was looking through my little trinkets and I found a glass crackled marble.  My great aunt used to make them , but my mom doesn't remember how she did them.  I was told they were baked, but at Michael's they called them "Fried Marbles". So, I was wondering if anyone knew instructions on how to make them
