21  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: All bobbled out on: October 12, 2009 06:44:33 PM
I can't believe more people haven't commented on this. You did a BEAUTIFUL job and the bobbles are a really wonderful little touch. It makes the blanket so much more unique!

Very cute! Love the color too.  Wink
23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Swirls Cap and Puppy-sized Starghan on: October 12, 2009 05:51:26 PM
This hat turned out even better than I expected! I made it to match a zig-zag/ripple/wave/whatever stripey scarf that I finished a couple weeks ago (you can see a bit of it in the pics). It was made using the AWESOME pattern by Sophia Kessinger on ravelry. I would absolutely recommend it!

And this isn't really worth noting, but I felt we could all use a little gratuitous puppy action.
It's a little stash busting starghan I made to put in Bug's crate. She loves snuggling under blankies.  Grin

Thanks for looking!
24  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Modified Skullface Cap and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Scarf! on: October 12, 2009 05:45:50 PM
These are two old FO's that I never got around to posting. The first is a hat I made using the chart for Skullface from Knitty. Let me tell you, for some reason it was a bitch to knit in the round! I was so glad to be done with it.

I get a lot of wear out of this, it's probably my favorite hat.

This is the amazing technicolor dream scarf...knit with 4 balls of Koigu KPPPM. This took me FOREVER, about a year actually, because I kept putting it down. I think I may have even made it a little too long...eep.  Undecided

those are really great paintings...I love the foot.  Nice work..love your color combinations and shading...did you use oil?

Thank you! I used acrylics. Unfortunately I never learned how to use oils and I haven't got anyone around that can show me.  Sad

Maybe someday though!

Wonderful curves!

Thank you, everyone!!!

Glad you like everything!! I kind of did two same-but-different packages for my partners. They both got different versions of the same sorta stuff (except the zentangles). Kurtzie hasn't posted yet but I hope she loves everything!  Grin

Thank you so much, everyone! Your comments mean a lot to me! (I edited the first post so the butt isn't in everyone's face right off the bat, heh Wink)
28  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / 3 New Paintings on: August 11, 2009 06:18:25 PM
Three new paintings; one done last night, the other two tonight. They're all 5"x7" so they're pretty small.

Legs.

Butt...my favorite of the 3 paintings.  Grin

The hand is a little crappy and small but I've already committed to being done with it...so oh well.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for looking.

I received my package from malmow today! Check out my loot:

Various little papers and some yarn scraps. That holographic paper is awesome.  Grin

Little odds and ends, note the VERY cute little inchies she included and the little boot confetti (awesome). The little skull charm is being made into a bracelet as we speak.

And in my questionnaire I said that I'd love to receive drawings from my swap partners. Look at how cute these all are! Malmow wrote on the back that I shouldn't include a close-up but I think they're adorable!

Thanks so much!!!  Cheesy

I received from Kurtzie today!

My favorite thing: a little googly eye resin pendant.  Grin

Thanks, Kurtzie!!
