The only thing that upsets me about this change is that I'll no longer be able to post my loom-woven potholders. 

It's been so long since I've actually posted any of my FOs on craftster. I guess I just fell into a funk for a while. Anyway, here a couple things I've crocheted in the past couple months. They're all pretty simple but they're my own designs (mostly made up as I was making them).


Itty bitty olive! I was practicing shaping in crochet (which I'm still relatively new to...I'm a knitter at heart!  )


I hadn't quite perfected changing colors yet but I wanted to show you his little pimento.


Mystery poultry! Made on a whim one night, mostly just to see if I could do it.


This is a change purse I made for my partner in the One Tiny Thing swap. It's simple, but I thought it turned out pretty elegant.




I even lined it! I'm pretty proud of this considering how terrible I usually am at lining things.


I liked it so much that I made a blue version for myself! The flower reminds me of a buttercup. 




Lining! Because it just buttons closed it's not really so great for holding change but it is the perfect size for my little square ipod nano.

I received my tiny thing from Jenicat today!!! AND IT IS AWESOME! She chose my theme of pomegranates and made me the sweetest little brooch ever! SERIOUSLY LOOK AT THIS THING!


On its own, I knew what it was as soon as I took it out of the envelope. I love how the beads catch the light, it really shows off the ruby red color.


On my jacket (that I can finally wear again because it's not so frigid out!). It fits my personality so well, Jenicat did an excellent job on this!

I've been on a cupcake drawing kick lately so I thought I'd try my hand at your design (just for fun). I didn't incorporate the tooth but I think it might be cute if you used it as the shape in the background image instead of the stars that I used. Dunno, here's my attempt:

A note! Unfortunately Bug didn't learn to read in doggy school I read it out loud to her though!


Look at all our loot!!! There's a great bag with a boston terrier skull and crossbones to take with us on walks and to the doggy park, a portable water bottle so we can stay well hydrated, lots of YUMMY chicken jerky treats, poop bags so Bug can clean up after she does her business outside, SQUEAKY TENNIS BALLS (!!!), a little stuffie mouse, a cute little argyle sweater with fire hydrants on it, and lots of crafty things for momma!


Mmm...chiiicken jerrkyyy!!!

Oh, and did I mention that Diesels_Mom sent us SEVEN handmade dog collars?!!?! We have one for every occasion now!

Things are so hectic right now! I can't believe Christmas is so soon, and my birthday is directly afterwards, and then right after my birthday I'm going on a road trip to Chicago! Once January rolls around I should finally have some time to post-stalk my partner (not that I haven't begun already!). Yeesh, SO MUCH TO DO!
