1  t-shirt to "uncertain" dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by LuNaGirl on: July 25, 2008 10:00:54 AM
I call  this my uncertain dress because i'm uncertain that it is a dress. I wore it yesterday as a shirt with some jeans, so I guess it pretty versatile. Pretty much a very simple recon, only one seam needed Cheesy
Enjoy!

Not a very good pic, but oh well. the picture is "uncertain" too I guess.

merci!

2  fashion 4 life! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LuNaGirl on: March 11, 2008 09:43:16 PM
Hellloooo.
At my school, we do a fashion show each year and give the profits to the American Cancer Association to find a cure. It's fun and a great cause so I made a few things and ta-da, next thing I know they're on the runway. I didn't get to take many pics because we were all rushing around and everything but here are a couple things I made.

^ my favorite. you can't see too well, but it has pockets :]

^the skirt or lack there of was not my doing. the model pulled it up last minute.......oh well.

thanks for looking! :]

3  Greek smoky dress(the Trojan Women costume) in Costumes: Completed Projects by LuNaGirl on: January 06, 2008 07:59:38 AM
Hello.
This is a dress I made for a drama competition. I chose to make a dress for Andromache from the Trojan Women which is an ancient Greek tragedy. fun, right? well anyway, it was a bit nervewrecking because i always procrastinate (one of my new years resolution is not to) and i had a week to do it.my friend modeled it for me and the competition was great! the judges found few errors, but i still have to revise it b/c im going to the state level! so exciting. well here is the actual dress. comments would be amazing! and i am VERY open to criticism and suggestions.

props to my friend who modeled it!!!<3 her!

thank you for looking,
LuNaGirl

5  Flowy tank with crochet detail :] in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LuNaGirl on: September 22, 2007 10:01:25 PM
Here's my latest mistake. But i do admit i like it :p

It was supposed to be a present for my friend but i miscalculated the fabric and ended up with a tank that was too small for her. I tried a zipper, but it looked horrible and i didnt have any more fabric. after messing with it a bit more, i decided to keep it small and save it for another gift possibly for another friend, and i went to the store and bought my friend some more fabric which i am yet to start making something.sigh. well thats my long boring story, but heres what you guys want to see :]

^ haha the shorts i am wearing completely do not match i know. just "modeling" on a whim you know?

Thanks for looking! Grin

9  Dr. Seuss would approve of this Reversible Slouch bag in CHALLENGE 20 ENTRIES by LuNaGirl on: August 01, 2007 08:16:21 PM
Hey,

^ please ignore wierd expression.

My entry was completely inspired by Dr. Suess'  environmentally conscious book( and my personal fav) The Lorax. If you have never read the book and can't wait to know what its particular message is heres a link to the musical video version.

ok. so the bag was made out of two extra large tees i had. it is a reversible slouchy bag, complete with pockets! The Lorax accompanied by his very green statement is stenciled on both the inside and outside.

truffula trees

YES THAT REALLY IS THE WHOLE LORAX STORY....it was very entertaining.

i wore it on a trip to san francisco and i think it fit in very well with the city's effort to become even more green.

thanks so much for looking!  Wink
