1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Iced Tea Juices? on: July 20, 2007 03:19:32 PM
I love iced tea juices, especially by Tazo.  I make iced tea all the time and was wondering what would happen if you brewed your tea with juice instead of water?  Is that asking for a disaster?  Anyone do this?  If so, any tea/juice combos you'd suggest?  Thanks!
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Fresh produce tips for a little family on: May 31, 2006 09:56:23 AM
I have a household of two, me and mr. veggie hater.  I love having fresh produce in the house but many times it goes bad before we can eat it all.  Anyone else have this problem?  Some things I try to do:

I try my hardest to cut up things like celery as soon as I get home from the grocery store so it's ready to snack on when I'm being lazy.

When I need some onion, I chop the whole thing up and put the remainder in a resealable container.  To help keep it fresh longer I put a damp paper towel on top of the onions and seal it up.

Do you have any tips?
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Striped Leg Warmers on: April 15, 2006 01:52:24 PM
Hello!  This is the first project I'm sharing so be nice!  I'm just happy because I finally knit something I wear on a regular basis.  The only mistake I made was I binded one legwarmer off when it was two stripes shorter than the other one.   Embarrassed  I took the time to cut it out and make it right.  It was frusterating but the results were well worth it to me.
