Hey all. I came across this Rowan pattern (and a few others- they have nice stuff) anyways, it seems that to order a rowans pattern it would cost me.... an insane amount of UK money which just is not an option, but if anyone knew of any other similar kind of lacey sweater patterns like this one  http://www.knitrowan.com/html/pattern_results.asp?type=&keyword=&complexity=&productCode=&category=New&StartAt=2   (hopefully) listed easy to intermediate that would be soooo awesome. I am a knitter by nature and I just very recently learned to crochet. And by very recently I mean approx. two days ago.  Im not that good by any means, but I thought I'd post my first two projects. I didnt really know what I was doing. I just kinda started and when it started to look like something I stopped.
SO here are my two clutches. I think I might want to line them, perhaps put a zipper in the pink and white one. Not really sure. I hope I can improve on my (lack) of skill.

 First I wanted to make this to match a dress I have, but Im not sure if its going to work. I may just knit something instead.
 Anyhow, not the greated FO's ever made, but Im slightly proud. Crocheting is hard for a knitter

Hey. This my first time knitting with actual wool (for some reason its damn near impossible to find real wool where Im from) and therefore my first felted project. KNitted mini tote bag.

Pre felting, we measured approx. a foot (literally, there was no ruler so my boyfriend put his foot up against it to get an idea of the size)  and post felting its about 8" by 8".
Its not that big a deal, but Im kinda impressed with myself. My first time felting... first time doing cast on and off WHILE knitting and first three needle bind off... which was actually alot easier than I expected. 
Also, Maybe cause its my first time, but the wool kinda smells not so great now.. is that due to the felting process?
