Hey! Living in St. John's as well.  Badpuppy,  usually between November and December the Flea market at the mall on Sundays has people who sell alot of crafts, $15 a table and The Glacier in Mount Pearl usually has a big Christmas related craft fair. Ar you planning on doing something similar? Or on a smaller more intimate scale.

Solatium, Dianne Servis also has a few hat patterns with pixie-ish flavour. This one in particular might interest you,

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knitting a cabled blanket. What yarn to use? on: September 28, 2009 05:37:25 AM
Hey all. Im looking to knit a cabled blanket for my aunt for Christmas and Ive narrowed my choices down to Superwash bamboo (65%wool/35%bamboo) and Elann Incense (50%wool/25%silk/25%bamboo). Both sound like they'll be wonderful but I want to know what will be softer, what will be more durable and hold up better with cables and be an all around better choice for a blanket. Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks!

OMG!  Thats gorgeous. I loved the original and I love yours. I wanted to knit it myself, but I kinda suck and unless the pattern was written row by row, I wouldnt be able to follow. Props to you for being able to!
