i dont consider myself an expert but ive found that it you use elastic thread in your bobbin with regular upper thread it gathers with out having to use the sew and pull method ...make sure to use appropite SP? settings/needle/fabric/tension and if its not gathered enough i just kind of bunch it when i sew ...hope it opens a discussion Smiley it works for me i used this method to make a 5 tiered skirt and a  4 tiered skirt for my little sis

um this might seem a bit forward of me but im trying to learn how to tat um and i was wondering if some tatting experts maybe could i dont know post some of the basic instructions maybe with some pictures to help illustrate the steps ......im sure it wold help a lot of beginners having trouble with this technique----
