Thanks guys =]

hot_toddygal, yeah I embroidered right through it (I used a realllyyy sharp needle to get through the tough paper Wink )
It looks plainer lighted up... the stripes don't show up as much. I can take a pic, if you want?

Ooooh, fun!

Ok so I was thinking keep the walls white but maybe do a strip of light green going round the wall.
Then keep the white bedding but get a green blanket than you can fold half way down your bed, and have lots of blue and white or pink and white cushions. And have a few on your couch, too.
On the nightstand you could have lots of wee candles. You could also get a plain white bedside table light and then do 'the napkin technique' on it.
Basically you get a napkin and take only the very first layer that the design is printed on and then rip it or cut it into small pieces, which you then glue on. Don't forget to varnish it when your done Wink

You could also put paintings on the wall, and omg omgggg I have an idea!!! haha ok well for your ceiling you could hang crystals from it!

Hope this is what you were looking for.
18  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / My granny's 80th birthday... Very stuck on ideas! on: February 06, 2007 10:44:42 AM
Hello!  Cheesy

It's my granny's 8oth birthday in 2 weeks time! But as usual I'm totally stuck on what to make.

She's lived all her life in Ireland (in the country) and is religious. She has loads of grand kids (me including, duh Grin ) and she lives in a sheltered housing err... thingie.
She likes doing cross-words and reading, but she dosnt do much cooking or anything that demands to much energy.

Thanks for your help!

19  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Help me out with my Girly Bedroom! =] on: January 28, 2007 04:01:43 AM
Hi all  Cheesy

This is basically my bedroom right now:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=90609.0

I would like to still keep it pink BUT also make it a bit more preppy (Laura Ashley'ish) and retro at the same time.
I love love this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=99705.0

I want to paint my walls light pink, but I don't know if it would look okay? Should I just paint two white and two pink?

Thanks for looking!
