I love your choice of fabrics. Very nice! The bird is just too cute. Are the magnetic snaps hard to do?? I haven't ventured to try them yet, still trying to master the zipper. LOL

I think a cute coin purse to go with the small hobo would be real cute, with matching designs on it... or maybe the little bird a nest to rest in? LOL

Very nice work!! Smiley

Very clear tut. Thank you. I really want to try my hand at this, though zippers scare me. LOL

Thank you, again!

It was a disaster!  Undecided

I am going to try it again later. I have to just concede that the dress has won right now. I am not giving up, but I will go onto something I can accomplish to get me courage back up, and tackle it again.

 Thanks again! Wink

Mim,
That is fabulous!  Thank you so much. I am going to go scrounge trough those old bras!

I am going to have to take the sides in a little, then i am going to try that. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Thanks so much everyone!! Wink I am very glad I found this board.

Thank you,
I'll look to see if my library carries Threads. Wink

j_en,
no problem with it being unread, could tell it was. I was just saying, like myself, most ladies here are very busy crafting.. Again no problem. Grin

I am looking at possibly taking in the sides, and putting in a half shelf bra-type material. Maybe that will help as well. If not, then I guess it would be a great 'round the house top. Undecided

Thanks for the replies. Cheesy

Well it has been a few days, and no response.... are we busy crafters, girls?? LOL Grin

I have been trying to wing a shelf bra. I was able to get the front done fairly right, but I am having a problem with the back puckering at the small of my back. I have tried loosening the fabric around that area, and it is still doing it. I am just going to put this aside for now...... though not for long the weather here is getting very nice for this type of top, and go on to my next projects!!

My DH just bought be a combined 16 yards of fabric the other day, and has already requested what patterns for me to make with them Wink.... Men, aren't they the cutest Undecided

I bought a nice RTW halter dress a few years ago. I had to enlarge the side seams a bit to be able to wear it comfortably. Since then, nature has been playing a cruel joke on my girls, they keep wanting to to go south. How can I add some support to the top to keep them where they need to be.

I have searched the posts, and all I keep reading is to go and buy a convertible bra. I would really love to add a shelf bra to this rather than spend the money on another bra.

I have a pattern for a tankini top, that has a nice bra in it, but I don't know how to alter it for a low back halter. I am still learning the ins and outs of sewing, and I think this would be a great project to try.

Any ideas??

Thanks!! Grin

Hi,
I just found this board, because I was looking for a phone cozy pattern, and lo-and-behold I found this.... your phone is exactly like mine.

Q..does the beads scratch the phone???

do you have the measurements of the stitch lengths?? I crochet, and might could get an idea of one from the measurments.

I love the brocade fabric, very elegant! Grin
