1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Swan Laptop Bag on: December 12, 2010 12:05:02 PM
I made this using a leftover piece of upholstery fabric.  It has a front pocket for a charger.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Messenger Bag Made From Two Jackets on: December 09, 2010 02:30:44 PM
I made this bag from two old eighties blazers, you know, the kind with shoulder pads.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Wristlet Wallets on: July 19, 2010 10:42:01 AM
I love these so much.  I've been making so many of them.  They hold everything, and they are so much nicer to carry around than a huge bag. The orange one is a plain cotton print, and the silver & red ones are sparkly vinyl.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Sparkly Triforce DS Cases on: January 07, 2008 02:08:51 PM

I made these for our Dee Esses.  They are made from green and gold Sparkly Naugahyde, lined with ticking, bound in gold.  They close with a snap.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Linen Bag, Many Pockets on: July 08, 2007 02:04:17 PM
I made this from a few different fabrics, mostly to test my pattern.  The outside is linen, with cotton for the pocket fronts and lining.  I like all the pockets, they keep all my crap from going astray.

I sewed a zippered pocket into the lining, but I designed it so it divided the area, you know, for more organization.  I also needed a dedicated place for my JoAnn's ad.

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 3 Sparkly Naugahyde Bags on: April 28, 2007 06:15:04 PM
I really love this design.  It fits really well under my arm, and it's a really nice size.  I made them all out of sparkly Naugahyde, and I sewed them on an industrial sewing machine.  I lined them with cotton ticking.

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cheating Whore on: April 19, 2007 06:19:03 PM
I got the idea for this from The History Channel.  It's 12"x12"x4", made from red and black wool, and lined with cotton ticking.

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Brown and Green Leather Bag on: April 03, 2007 07:27:37 PM
I made this for myself.  I needed it to be big enough for all my crap, but also loose and manageable.  I made the strap a little wider than I usually do, and that has made it surprisingly comfortable to wear.  Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it.  I added a piece of green upholstery fabric to the flap, and the inside is ticking with a pocket and pen slots.

9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Angel Quilt on: March 24, 2007 07:20:20 PM
I started this awhile ago, and finished it today.  I hand quilted part of it, then finished quilting it on the machine.  It's all cotton, even the thread.  The back is navy blue flannel.

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Faux Suede Poppy Clutch on: March 22, 2007 07:55:37 PM
This is red and lime green faux suede with a poppy applique.  I used ticking for the lining and added a zippered pocket.
