I made this bag from two old eighties blazers, you know, the kind with shoulder pads.

3  Wristlet Wallets in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AriadnesThread on: July 19, 2010 10:42:01 AM
I love these so much.  I've been making so many of them.  They hold everything, and they are so much nicer to carry around than a huge bag. The orange one is a plain cotton print, and the silver & red ones are sparkly vinyl.

5  Linen Bag, Many Pockets in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AriadnesThread on: July 08, 2007 02:04:17 PM
I made this from a few different fabrics, mostly to test my pattern.  The outside is linen, with cotton for the pocket fronts and lining.  I like all the pockets, they keep all my crap from going astray.

I sewed a zippered pocket into the lining, but I designed it so it divided the area, you know, for more organization.  I also needed a dedicated place for my JoAnn's ad.

6  3 Sparkly Naugahyde Bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AriadnesThread on: April 28, 2007 06:15:04 PM
I really love this design.  It fits really well under my arm, and it's a really nice size.  I made them all out of sparkly Naugahyde, and I sewed them on an industrial sewing machine.  I lined them with cotton ticking.

I got the idea for this from The History Channel.  It's 12"x12"x4", made from red and black wool, and lined with cotton ticking.

8  Brown and Green Leather Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by AriadnesThread on: April 03, 2007 07:27:37 PM
I made this for myself.  I needed it to be big enough for all my crap, but also loose and manageable.  I made the strap a little wider than I usually do, and that has made it surprisingly comfortable to wear.  Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it.  I added a piece of green upholstery fabric to the flap, and the inside is ticking with a pocket and pen slots.

9  Angel Quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by AriadnesThread on: March 24, 2007 07:20:20 PM
I started this awhile ago, and finished it today.  I hand quilted part of it, then finished quilting it on the machine.  It's all cotton, even the thread.  The back is navy blue flannel.

This is red and lime green faux suede with a poppy applique.  I used ticking for the lining and added a zippered pocket.
