12  Scarf using Skull chart from "Son of a SnB" in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by staysik on: June 01, 2008 01:43:47 PM
This is a scarf using the skull chart, and seed stitch on the rest.  Cascade Superwash wool.  I also made one w/ Caron Simply Soft too... Not the best pic, my fault for not straightening it out better.

These are kinda' poor quality photos, and don't do the color and cables justice, but here's my first pair of fingerless gloves w/ thumbs. Grin

16  Spring-time Orange purse in Knitting: Completed Projects by staysik on: March 30, 2008 01:01:49 PM
It's springtime and time for brighter colors, so I picked a nice shad of orange, with matching lining and plastic handles, though I prefer bamboo handles.

17  Cabled Purse in Knitting: Completed Projects by staysik on: March 30, 2008 12:55:52 PM
This is a 2-color cable purse, with a plaid lining that matches the blue part of the purse. In the picture, its hard to see the detail on the darker part of the purse, but the pattern's the same as throughout the whole purse.

18  Flower Scarf in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by staysik on: March 30, 2008 12:48:48 PM
I've done many of these in many color variations.  I loooove this pattern!  It can be done so quickly and easily, and it's very adapable!

I used cotton yarn instead of of washable wool, cuz the colors I had seemed to complement each other so well that I decided to make an exception.  Generally wool does work best because of its springiness, but so far this one's holding up ok.

19  My bamboo handled crocheted purse in Crochet: Completed Projects by staysik on: March 30, 2008 12:40:28 PM
Not the best picture, but my camera isn't the best- I will get a new one as a graduation present - yay! I graduated in December 07.  On a side note, if you know of any jobs where art- especially fiber arts- can be used for art therapy, that's what I want to do, so please let me know!  Cool
