Hey everyone!! I have been on a bit of a crochet break for a while now so it is great to log back in and see so many amazing projects! Wow!

This is my latest I made it for my partner who is mad about chickens and clutch bags - I really hope this will be enough and we won't need to get real chickens!

Here is how the Cluck Clutch works:

Don't leave it on the car when you drive off! He inst good at flying yet!

He does like a good cuddle though

I have also made a smaller version as a coin purse.

They are very easy to make just 6 sc on a magic loop then 6 puff stitches

There have to be thousands of applications for them!
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Square Chicks for Spring on: March 20, 2009 03:06:01 PM

At last a bit of light and fun - after months of rain and snow!
7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Great White Shark - with a little surprise on: January 15, 2009 03:44:43 PM
Here is a Great White Shark I made!

I have always loved sharks, and once had a very close encounter when snorkeling with my Dad. We were swimming along and before we knew what was happening two sharks were swimming underneath and around us. I was very scared but my dad told me to swim for shore slowly and confidently and he would stay in the water so the sharks didn't follow me. I must have been quite frightened because I landed on the other side of the beach - by the time I had walked back to our area, my Dad was already back and enjoying a cold beer. We later discovered the sharks we saw were big but harmless black tips.

8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / I made a Cuckoo Clock on: January 02, 2009 03:11:05 PM
I made this as a Christmas gift for my love. The birds are interchangeable so you can suit the season.

I would like to try to put a real clock mechanism in it one day.
It was a bit of a challenge as it is bigger than I would normally make.

But, these crocheted ones don't actually work for the game, do they? Aren't they too light to fall into the poses needed to get high scores?

I was wondering this myself! Would you make them heavier, like filling them with rice, or more squareish in shape! I MUST KNOW!

And yes, please post instructables so we all can have wee little piggy fun!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!! I just want to say that the piggies work perfectly, and I had a great evening last night playing crocheted pass the pigs! - I stuffed them firmly and made sure they were well balanced.
